Historical Property
The careful design, planning and execution of the restoration and additions was the first time a residence in Bluffton's National Register Historic District was accomplished in accordance with the Secretary of the Interior's Guidelines for Historic Preservation. The main part of the home was kept as close to the original plan as possible and includes a formal parlor, three bedrooms and a large foyer that can be used as a living or dining room.

Hand scraping heart pine trim, mantles and ceilings, cypress doors and windows; re-bedding 56 panes of original glass; re-hanging 26 double hung windows with new rope to old weights and 13 porcelain knobbed window repaired latches are just a few of the many labors of love performed by the current owners during restoration.

Private shared dock and floating dock
